
Sarah Lloyd farms with her husband Nels Nelson in the Wisconsin Dells. In addition to her work at UW, she is a supply chain specialist for the UMN Forever Green Initiative and does development work for the Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative. Sarah has a PhD in rural sociology from UW-Madison and a master’s in rural development from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Sarah is active in the Wisconsin Farmers Union, serving as president of her local county chapter. She is also the president of the Board of the Wormfarm Institute.
