I received my bachelor’s degree in ecological science from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, near where I grew up on a wooded acreage and fell in love with wilderness and agriculture. I now work with Gregg Sanford on ecological intensification of cash-grain farm systems in the Midwest.
