Dr. Juan Zalapa and graduate student Lorraine Rodriguez Bonilla were recently notified that a paper they wrote in 2019 was selected as an outstanding genetic resources paper in Crop Science. Each year the Genetic Resources Division of the Crop Science Society of America selects outstanding papers for this award. Juan and Lorraine will be honored at the Genetic Resources business meeting in the fall of 2020.
The paper is titled, “Exploring the Genetic Diversity of Wild Cranberry Populations in the Upper Midwestern United States.”
